Keyword Masking

Masked potentially offensive and sensitive keywords and texts showing in chat.

Overview

The Keyword Masking feature allows you (CINNOX admins) to manage and automatically replace specified keywords in chat messages with ****. This helps maintain a clean and professional chat environment by masking sensitive, profane and inappropriate content.

Key Functions:

  • Add Keywords: You can add keywords one at a time or in bulk to the list of masked words, terms or phrases.
  • Delete Keywords: You can remove keywords from the list as needed.

Once added, any presence of these keywords or contexts in the chat will be replaced with ****, ensuring that sensitive, profane or inappropriate content is not displayed.

Use Cases:

  • Maintaining Professionalism: In a corporate environment, masking keywords can help prevent the display of unprofessional or inappropriate language, ensuring that all communications remain professional.
  • Protecting Sensitive Information: Masking keywords can be used to hide sensitive information such as personal data, financial details, or confidential project names, enhancing data security and privacy.
  • Moderating Public Chats: In public chat rooms or forums, masking keywords can help moderators manage and control the content, preventing the spread of offensive or harmful language.
  • Educational Settings: In educational platforms, masking keywords can be used to maintain a respectful and focused learning environment by filtering out distractions or inappropriate terms.
