Android Notifications - Known Issues

CINNOX may block sending mobile notifications from several Android devices.

Some guides for troubleshooting the issues we are aware of are listed below.

Samsung

Step 1: Prioritize notifications from CINNOX

Android 8, 9, 10 and 11

  • On your mobile device, tap Settings
  • Tap Apps
  • Select CINNOX
  • Under App settings, tap Notifications
  • Tap Chat message
  • Toggle on ignoring Do not disturb

Step 2: Exclude CINNOX from battery optimization

Android 8 and 9

  • On your mobile device, tap Settings
  • Tap Device care
  • Tap Battery
  • Tap the vertical dot menu at the top-right-hand corner
  • Tap Settings
  • Toggle Off Put unused apps to sleep
  • Toggle Off Auto disable unused apps
  • Tap Sleeping Apps to check if CINNOX is listed
  • If listed, tap the recycle bin icon
  • Select CINNOX
  • Tap Remove

Android 10

  • On your mobile device, tap Settings
  • Tap Device care
  • Tap Battery
  • Tap App power management
  • Tap App to won't be put to sleep
  • Tap + add apps
  • Add CINNOX to the list

Android 11

  • On your mobile device, tap Settings
  • Tap Battery and device care
  • Tap Battery
  • Tap Background usage limits
  • Tap Never sleeping apps
  • Tap **+ add apps
  • Add CINNOX to the list

 


Xiaomi

Step 1: Check that CINNOX is permitted to autostart

  • On your mobile device, tap Security
  • Tap Permissions
  • Tap Autostart
  • Toggle CINNOX to enable

Step 2: Ignore battery restrictions for CINNOX

  • On your mobile device, tap Settings
  • Tap Manage Apps' Battery Usage
  • Tap Apps
  • Tap CINNOX
  • Tap No Restrictions

Step 3: Allow notifications from CINNOX

  • On your mobile device, tap Settings
  • Tap App Notifications
  • Tap CINNOX
  • Toggle on Set as priority

 


Huawei Mate 20

Step 1: Ignore battery optimizations for CINNOX

  • On your mobile device, tap Settings
  • Tap Battery
  • Select App launch
  • Toggle on CINNOX

Step 2: Allow notifications from CINNOX

  • On your mobile device, tap Settings
  • Tap Apps
  • Tap CINNOX.
  • Tap Notification
  • Tap Chat message
  • Toggle on Allow interruptions

 


Huawei P9 Lite

Step 1: Ignore battery optimizations for CINNOX

  • On your mobile device, tap Settings
  • Tap Advanced settings
  • Tap Battery manager
  • Tap Protected apps
  • Toggle on CINNOX

Step 2: Allow notifications from CINNOX

  • On your mobile device, tap Settings
  • Tap Apps
  • Tap CINNOX
  • Tap Notifications, and ensure that all notifications settings are turned on

 


Vivo V9

Step 1: Ignore battery optimizations for CINNOX

  • On your mobile device, tap Settings
  • Tap Battery
  • Tap High background power consumption
  • Toggle on CINNOX

Step 2: Allow notifications from CINNOX

  • On your mobile device, tap Settings
  • Tap Status bar and notification
  • Tap Manage notification
  • Tap CINNOX, and ensure that all notifications settings are turned on
  • Tap Chat message
  • Toggle on Allow reminders in Do Not Disturb mode

 


OPPO

Step 1: List CINNOX as a protected app

  • On your mobile device, tap Settings
  • Tap Advanced Settings
  • Tap Battery Manager, then tap Protected Apps
  • Enable CINNOX to enable protection

Step 2: Ignore battery optimization for CINNOX

  • On your mobile device, Tap Settings
  • Tap Advanced Settings
  • Tap Battery Optimization
  • Enable CINNOX to ignore Optimizations

Step 3: Allow notifications from CINNOX

  • On your mobile device, tap Settings
  • Tap Notification Panel & Status Bar
  • Tap Notification Center
  • Find CINNOX and activate the allow notifications and priority display

Step 4: Add CINNOX to Startup Manager

  • On your mobile device, Go to Security Center
  • Tap Privacy Permissions
  • Tap Startup Manager, and Allow CINNOX to run in the background
