How does CINNOX secure my customer's data?
Since your customer’s browsers can be used to hijack customer data, we implement a high-security mechanism to mitigate this risk. A unique one-time token that expires soon after use is generated for the customer every time they visit your website. On top of this, we use local storage to prevent session hijacking.
What are the key security features of CINNOX?
CINNOX treats security as a top priority, and every account has several inbuilt security features, including:
- Preventing a user from attempting to login after several failed attempts
- Limiting to the number of enquiries a visitor can make
- Limiting the number of messages a visitor can send
- Detecting fraudulent calls and rejecting them by default
- Rejecting requests from IP addresses marked as hostile

How does CINNOX protect the privacy of my customers?
Protecting customer privacy is a priority at CINNOX, and we are committed to maintaining strong and compliant privacy protections in line with the provisions of the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (CAP 486) and the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679. Furthermore, CINNOX is certified for ISO 9001, ISO 27001, ISO 20000, and ISO 27017.
Does CINNOX practice any kind of security penetration testing?
CINNOX has been tested several times by security companies. It helps us make sure our application is secure and covered for the latest OWASP risks. We perform vulnerability scans on our PoP sites every day to make sure new deployments and libraries are secure and not susceptible to exploits or attacks.
What is the data retention feature of CINNOX?
CINNOX's Data Retention feature lets staff administrators regularly create a backup of data stored within the service and securely move them outside of the service (e.g., to their locally hosted servers or other preferred backup locations). The feature supports an offline and online backup mode using SSH File Transfer Protocol (SFTP) and MongoDB.
Does CINNOX ensure data safety with encryption?
Yes, our connections are protected with TLS/1.3 encryption, which is the latest and fastest industry standard for communication encryption and protection. This includes:
- Data encryption in transit
- Call encryption
- Data encryption at rest
- Messaging encryption
- Encryption in applications
- Data centre security
Does CINNOX have any data governance monitoring function?
CINNOX has various data governance functions in the Dashboard, and all reports can be downloaded. Financial organisations can have more visibility and data for control and monitoring.
