Is it worth investing on a professionally written CV?

I have been seeing quite a lot of people buying a CV online or getting it edited by experts. I just wanna know if it is worth it or not. I am an IT manager at a company and want to switch. Currently, I am confused about investing in IT CV experts for my doc. Although, I think I can tailor it, but it would be great if I could get an insight about spending money on a professionally written and edited CV. Is it really worth it?
